Building Organizational Capacity to Respond to and Prevent Violence in LGBTQ Communities- 8/4/2012
This training is brought to you through a community partnership with the Virginia Anti-Violence Project. Participants will identify ways to enhance their organizational ability to provide culturally appropriate services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) survivors and will build relationships with LGBTQ community advocates. A second track will be geared towards building the capacity of LGBTQ communities to organize against violence and can be helpful to LGBTQ people in your area. Intended Audience: Advocates, community members, allied professionals, and anyone interested in LGBTQ community response to violence
