Prevent Child Abuse Virginia (PCAV)
Mission: PCAV seeks to prevent the abuse and neglect of Virginia's children through public and parent education, and advocacy, and by training for prevention professionals. PCAV serves as the "Keeper of Childhood" and partners with the state to host Child Abuse Prevention Month every April. PCAV is the statewide chapter of 43 local child abuse prevention programs.
