| American Red Cross - Southside Area Chapter | | Mission: The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.Our mission is to educate and equip people with the skills to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies in their homes and communities. We envision communities where every citizen is safe, healthy and ready to respond in times of emergency. Our guiding values and principles that impact our decision-making are -- respect for all human beings
