| Learning Institute | | The UMFS Learning Institute promotes a learning environment where adults who work with children, youth, and families, such as teachers, counselors, social workers, and mental health professionals can expand their horizons in order to bridge connections with troubled young people. We are conscientious about offering powerful learning opportunities that lead to growth and development. Our services have long-term positive impact on the array of services offered by human services organizations. Services include training in a variety of delivery lengths and learning approaches to meet the needs of adult learners; onsite consultation and/or phone support to develop positive organizational culture; and
specially designed learning events based on the customer’s assessment, need, and desire. Program topics include Life Space Crisis Intervention™ (LSCI); Response Ability Pathways™ (RAP); Healing Process of Sexually Reactive Youth; Collaboration of Personality Types Using Myers-Briggs Assessment; Valuing Cultural Diversity; Effective Building Blocks for Supervisors; Facilitating Group Dynamics; and Enhancing Team Performance.
