| Strategic Planning Series, Part 2: Applications of Strategic Thinking |
| This session builds upon the foundational principles of Part 1 and is designed to guide participants through the practical application of strategic planning. Extremely beneficial for nonprofit leaders at varying levels, attendees will have the opportunity to apply the information learned to their own organizations. Attention will be given to particular steps during the planning process, including the SWOT analysis, external scanning, and action plans. Participants will also learn important steps in leading positive change in their organizations. By session’s end, attendees will gain the ability to: 1.) conduct a SWOT analysis and external scan; 2.) developing action plans that move the organization toward the vision; and, 3.) initiate and foster positive change within the organization. |
