| Multidisciplinary Child Abuse Conference |
| Child Advocacy Centers of Virginia is hosting its Fourth Annual Multidisciplinary Child Abuse Conference at the Holiday Inn Koger Conference Center in Richmond, VA on May 1, 2, and 3rd.
The Child Advocacy Center is a child focused program in which representatives from many disciplines, including law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, and medical and victim advocacy, work together to conduct interviews and make team decisions about investigation, treatment, and management of child abuse cases.
This conference will provide valuable training and networking opportunities for social services workers, therapists, law enforcement, victim advocates and medical professionals. It will also reinforce the CAC's innovative approach to developing valuable interagency partnerships which have proven as successful as these multidisiciplinary professionals work with child and family maltreatment.
Registration is open to all multidisciplinary professionals working with child and family maltreatment. For more information about Child Advocacy Centers of Virginia, please visit www.cacva.org.
