Maymont’s Feathered Friends
Monday, April 9, 12-1pm, Nature Center Why are some birds called raptors? Can owls really see in the dark? Hunt for information about these awesome predators of the sky in an encounter that includes fun facts and a close-up glimpse of one of Maymont’s feathered friends. We’ll dissect owl pellets to learn about what owls eat. Ages 6 and older; adult must accompany child. $8 per child/$7 members (includes admission to the Nature Center).
