| The Leadership Challenge |
| This course provides an overview of the model of exemplary leadership presented in the bestselling book, The Leadership Challenge. Participants will gain insight into their own leadership strengths and opportunities for development by taking the Leadership Practices Inventory. The class is based on experiential learning and case study methods to help nonprofit leaders enhance their ability to model the way, inspire a shared vision, challenge the process, enable others to act, and encourage the heart.
We'll be traveling to an experiential education center in Ashland for the second day. While the day will involve physical activity, we anticipate that people of all fitness levels will be able to participate and students will be able to physically challenge themselves by choice. An extra $35 fee has been included to cover the cost of the day at Challenge Discovery.
