Get involved! The 2013 Va. General Assembly

The 2013 Session of the Virginia General Assembly will convene in the historic Virginia Capitol on Wednesday, January 9, and will run for eight weeks. Citizen are encouraged to participate in the legislative process. Below are many ways to get involved:

  • Attend a committee meeting or request an opportunity to testify
  • Track the progress of bills of interest to you
  • Learn about nonprofit advocacy and lobbying
