Director of Capacity Building, The Cameron Foundation

Athan is the Director of Capacity Building with The Cameron Foundation. His main role is to provide leadership in support of performance and outcome improvements for nonprofit organizations in the Foundation's service area. He accomplishes this through innovative action plans in support of grantmaking and other initiatives promoting organizational development and connections to resources. With over a decade of experience working in the philanthropic sector, Athan holds a B.A. in History from Davidson College and his career includes service with the National Rural Funders Collaborative, Warner Foundation, and Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation. He has also worked with the Lindsay Group, a management consulting firm with a diverse client portfolio.
