Renowned speaker and co-author of The Charismatic Organization, Shirley Sagawa comes to the Tri-cities to help kick-off Southside Community Partners' newest offering, Hot Topics, a series of book discussion and author talks. Shirley, co-founder of the Sagawa/Jospin consulting firm, was named a "Woman to Watch in the 21st Century," by Newsweek, and one of the "Most Influential Working Mothers in America" by Working Mother. She is currently with the Center for America Progress. Shirley has served as a presidential appointee in both the first Bush and Clinton Administrations. She is a graduate of Smith College, the London School of Economics and Harvard Law School, where she served on the Harvard Law Review.
Participate in lively discussions about current trends at the first Southside Community Partners Author Talk Cocktail Hour at the Sycamore Rouge Theatre in Petersburg.
