If you are a busy nonprofit leader, board member or volunteer searching for best practices or How To tips, you'll find helpful information in this section.

2009 eNonprofits Benchmarks Study
Prepared by M+R Strategic Services and NTEN, this report landscapes nonprofit email, fundraising and advocacy efforts in 2008. Online giving increased by 43 percent while open and click-through rates continued to fall. Read more to find how your nonprofit's technology use stacks up.

The Media Research Hub
This Web site seeks to create a link between social research and the public, thus furthering awareness and collaboration. Communications and advocacy professionals will find this site most helpful in staying up to date on news, trends and research. The site's research database operates as a wiki and readers may skim through on-going funded projects impacting activism and media in today's world.

Streamlink
Streamlink is a web-base streamlining software tool designed to enable a nonprofit organization to be accurate and consistent by providing the right information at the right time to the right people. It also decreases the amount of staff time needed to manage key organizational functions while improving relationships with major stakeholders and creating systems that allow for the implementation of best practices.

Idealist.org's International Volunteerism Resource Center
Launched in June 2009, browse the 14,000+ volunteer opportunities abroad and find answers to your questions; e.g. What are the ethical issues to consider before volunteering abroad? How should I plan my trip? and more.

Google's Public Data Search Tool
This Google resource allows citizens to freely search for a variety of public data collected from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau's Population Division. Future iterations with even more data access to follow.
